Nightcap at Wintersun Hotel
Recently renovated on the inside, with new bathroom and clean fresh rooms. Exterior appearance quite run down. The service was good and the location a bit out of the way from the main entertainment area, handy for us for an early getaway heading north.

Downside was we had to wait a long time to check in to the motel.Attention to customers waiting by staff who knew we were standing there is important.

Nightcap at Wintersun Hotel
Family visiting for the day and evening meal. We booked a table, arrived with our table boasting our surname. Enjoyed our selected drinks, I love lemon lime and bitters, others had their wine and cold refreshing beer. Meal choices ordered and served promptly. You can't go wrong with fish, chips and fresh crispy, full of flavour salad. One family member ordered octopus with a lovely coating, we all agreed the plate was so full, very inviting, that we couldn't fit in dessert. Well done Wintersun, we'll be back tomorrow to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Many people there enjoying a night out, it's one of our favourites. Yippee, another excuse tomorrow to go where the end result is, satisfaction.

Came in for Mothers Day dinner, we hadn't booked but were accommodated with a smile. All staff were run off their feet but were all lovely and very helpful. Highly recommend this venue for a meal or special occasion

Nightcap at Wintersun Hotel
The rooms are cosy and the toilet is very clean. The only reason why I gave it a 3 star rating is because the toilet's window is very transparent and it's facing the main exit. I have to cover it with a towel and duct tape.

Venue, room, food, location etc were all great. BUT..... The security of the parking compound is a big concern. Friends travelling with us had their camping gear stolen. The external fencing could be improved to prevent offenders from jumping the fence. improved lighting, cameras and/or monitoring in the compound (not just the bottleshop) would help. I would be happy to pay extra per night for this.

Excellent rooms, nice bed, frigobar, always clean and welcoming.The bar and restaurant is really good as well.
